Apprentice Football Coach

Job Description:

Some of the responsibilities will include:

  • Play a central role in supporting women and girls football in local environments to engage 100 new female players in regular football activity and 10 female leaders
  • Recruit volunteers to support the delivery of the Women and Girls’ Football Development action plan, with focus on supporting other females to volunteer in football
  • Deliver football activities which are specifically targeted to women and girls, with a focus on providing opportunities for females from ethnic minorities to play / volunteer
  • Support the planning and delivery of football activities which create opportunities for more women and girls to engage with the game: play, volunteer, support & spectate
  • Grow women and girls participation across the college and in the local community through a range of activities such as: Soccercise, turn up and play, intra-mural leagues, futsal sessions, after college club sessions and Girls’ Football Week events
  • Lead the delivery of informal football activities targeting both new and lapsed female participants, hosted at the college as well as in schools and community settings
