Apprentice Quality Officer

Job Description:
  • To support the FDQ quality team
  • Provide support to the FDQ quality team in an Awarding and End Point Assessment Organisation
  • Adhere to and support compliance within the awarding and endpoint assessment regulatory environment
  • Act as the competent user and customer support officer to our centre management system
  • Contribute to the maintenance of FDQ’s main e-mail inbox in accordance with procedures
  • Support the FDQ team on general quality, administration and operational matters.
  • Build and maintain relationships with FDQ’s team of External Quality Assurance Consultants
  • Organise meeting room, facilities and functions
  • Undertake any additional activity as requested to support organisational effectiveness and success
  • Adhere to regulatory requirements
  • Maintain adherence to respective AO & EPAO branding conventions
  • Adhere to FDQ internal and external IT system protocols and advise where necessary on functionality improvements
  • Maintain a system for storage of documents as required of the quality team

Qualifications Required:
  • Secondary education as a minimum
  • Minimum 5 x GCSEs A-C including maths and English skills or equivalent
  • A Levels or equivalents are desirable
Things to Consider:  

There may be some lone working if all team members were at external meetings- acceptance that this may happen on occasion is essential

Owner driver desirable as the office has limited public transport links it is essential that you have checked your travel to and from the office before applying, as you will be asked this question before being considered for interview.

Location of the office can be a little awkward for a non-driver but there is a bus service that comes to the main road just outside of the business park

Punctuality is key as our office must be manned during opening hours (9am-5.30pm)

 

Apprenticeship National Minimum Wage (ANMW): The National Minimum Wage for Apprentices is £3.70 per hour. This is the legal minimum pay per hour applying to 16-18 year old apprentices and those aged 19 and over in the first year of their apprenticeship. For apprentices 19 or over who have completed their first year and are continuing their apprenticeship, the National Minimum wage appropriate to their age applies.
