Height Lift & Shift is a rapidly growing SME at the forefront of their field in providing equipment to help clients eliminate ladders and steps from their operations, improving the safety of their workforce and helping them to achieve improved productivity.
So What Will You Be Doing?
As an apprentice, your primary responsibility will be to support the Sales and Marketing teams with customer/prospect contact and administration of our customer/prospect records.
Responsibilities will include:
- Administration of Salesforce database including data input and data cleansing/management of the database
- Customer and supplier queries and liaison
- Creating quotations/proposal documents
- Outbound fact find calls to feed back to Sales team
- Digital marketing including social media
- Adhere to processes/systems of the company
- Provide outstanding customer service to internal/external stakeholders
- Building good working knowledge of company’s products and services
You will work closely with the sales team to create leads and build long-term relationships with existing accounts as well as with prospects.
Professional communications: refined verbal and written skills, accurate grammar, spelling – and active listening, able to understand instruction.
Willing and interested to learn about the world of experiential marketing, promotions and field marketing.
A friendly, confident, and lively persona: able to communicate personality and establish rapport quickly.
A creative, intelligent mind: an ability to think strategically and deliver results in accordance with agreed plans.
GCSE (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths or AS Levels (or equivalent) would be an advantage.
Acceptance is subject to college interview, initial assessment and taking a skill area test.
Things to consider:
Our offices are based on the edge of Garforth close to Thorpe Park Estate where the new retail development is currently being built.
We have free on site parking, are very close to junction 46 of the M1 and are very closed to public transport links.
As a small business we take a great deal of care when recruiting to make sure that we appoint people who are a good personality match for our business and our team. We are a close knit team who rely on each other for support and good communication between ourselves and our clients. As a small company we all have the benefit of having varied roles, which we will pass on to the apprentice too. WE do not have a fixed idea of the role that this person will fill we very much intend on working with the strengths and aptitude of the individual.
We have decided to take on apprentice for several reasons not least because we genuinely believe that we have skills and experience that would benefit an individual.
In terms of salary we intend to pay £4.50 per hour initially and then have clear achievement milestones through the apprenticeship where the hourly wage will increase as this person’s skills and experience increases. This can be discussed in more detail at interview stage. We would also take into account any prior experience which may affect the starting salary.
