Technical Construction Apprentice

Brief Overview: Based at the regional Office this role will be to support the Technical department for the business including, Planning, Surveying and Technical. Throughout the 2 years of training the candidate will be exposed to many aspects of the construction process
Wage: £162.79 (weekly wage) 
Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm, Friday 8.30am

Network Construction Operations (Water) Apprenticeship

Brief Overview: Water Mainlayer / Servicelayer Using maps and plans to locate digging location, preparing excavations by hand or use of mechanical equipment, laying and repairing mains pipes or systems and making connections to the water network. Repairing excavations and pavements on completion of work.

Working Hours:

10 Hour shift between the hours of 07.00 to 17.30 Mon to Friday I/2 hour for Lunch 12:30hrs to 13:00hrs 21 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays Monthly paid You will also be expected to adopt a flexible approach to meet the timescales and deadlines

Total hours per week: 47.00

(the hours are based on the candidate being over 18)

Because of the nature of the work Health & Safety that is the reason they have to be 18 and they need to be able to get to work in the morning and therefore require transport

Utility Construction Training (UCT) based in Carrington, Manchester will be where the training is going to be held only.
