Are you 16-18 and looking to try out short courses before you commit to something longer?  Do you need to get back into a routine and build up your confidence?

You could try out a short ESF programme with one of these training providers in Wakefield.

  • Aspire2B offer Health & Social Care
  • Elite Training offer Motor Vehicle/Construction

You are usually in 3-5 days a week with courses lasting around 4 weeks and you can then look at moving onto your next step

Art Social at Hepworth, Wakefield

The Hepworth Wakefield, Gallery Walk.

Are you unemployed?  Age 16-25? Looking for something to improve your confidence? Are you interested in all things creative?

The Hepworth Wakefield offers informal creative sessions where you can drop in for as little or as long as you choose.  You can have a go at a range of art techniques, meet other young people in small groups and have fun. No previous experience of art is necessary, just a willingness to have a go.

You will be able to link up with artists for mentoring opportunties and there will be the chance for one young person to take part in a month long residency, showing work!

Lunch is provided and they will reimburse bus fares.
