Kick-start your career in Precision Engineering with Hogley Brothers as an Apprentice Machine Operator. You’ll receive hands-on training from our expert team, learn to operate CNC machinery, inspect quality products & develop valuable skills while working towards an apprenticeship qualification in a supportive environment.
The apprentice will receive the majority of their training in the workplace, learning from experienced machine operators and supervisors. They will also complete off-the-job training as part of their apprenticeship programme, delivered by the training provider through a combination of workplace learning and scheduled online training sessions. Regular reviews will be held to monitor progress and support the apprentice throughout their programme.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship could lead to a permanent Machine Operator role with Hogley Brothers. As your skills and experience develop, you’ll have opportunities to take on greater responsibility, learn additional machinery and processes, gain further industry-recognised qualifications, and progress into more senior manufacturing or supervisory roles.
Monday to Friday. 8am – 5pm with a one hour unpaid lunch break.
Friday early finish at 4pm (paid until 5)
This is a practical, hands-on role within a manufacturing environment. Applicants should be comfortable standing for long periods, following strict health and safety procedures, and working as part of a team. A positive attitude, willingness to learn and commitment to completing both the workplace and off-the-job training are essential.
