Description

You will undertake the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner Apprenticeship, working within our nursery setting, learning on the job.

Training Description:

As part of this apprenticeship, you will undertake the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner standard. In addition, you will undertake other CPD related courses as part of your employment such as safeguarding training and Paediatric First Aid.

Full Description:

Stimulating children’s learning abilities, often through experiences
Contributing to the development of a child’s personal, social, language and physical coordination abilities
Producing teaching resources
Keeping an eye on each child’s progress, assessing and recording their improvements
Instilling children with natural curiosity and knowledge
Communicating with parents
Keeping up to date with the curriculum and best practices

Outcome Description:

We support any aspirations staff have for furthering their qualifications, whether this be further CPD or as your career develops L4 or L5 qualifications.

We aim for all staff to hold a Paediatric First Aid certificate, which is regularly updated, along with training in Child Protection, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and Manual Handling.
